""""" WAR ON MUMBAI """"""""

hi ,
" terrorists have no face but have an agenda , but politicians have a face but no agenda " these words were the words spoken by the civilians of Mumbai as they expressed their raw anger against the politicians who were to be blamed for the attack on the Taj mahal hotel and Oberoi Trident on the 26th November, 2008 . There were several terrorists who entered the Taj and Oberoi and took scores of people hostages . they even shot many in cold blood . It seemed as if they were very familiar with the  the In's and outs of the hotel . The Taj is a enormous structure whose routes are intricate . They seemed to be very young people who had a sound physique and had  vigorous training. The Indian Government blamed  Pakistan for the attacks as one of the militant who was caught was Pakistani .
They planned the operation very well and intelligence sources say that their motives was to make this operation of theirs a nightmare worse than 9/11 . It was said that they had ammunition's to blow up the iconic structure .
I don't know what their motive  was but people have really gone through are horrors . Those who lived to tell the tale recounted traumatic events .
It's so saddening to see the chronicles of losses . Those Brave martyrs who laid their lives down protecting their city will  for sure , never be forgotten . The NSG commandos , The RAF and ATS members Outsmarted those uncivilised and uncultured people truly didn't make India bow down to TERRORISM .
This event , I hope terms like North and South Indian from the dictionary of a common man and will replaced by an Indian . I earnestly hope that Raj Thackery learns his lesson and stops all the drama that he has created .....
Citizens are fed up with politicians and are ready to "lead India " on their own . I must blame them for not responding sources that warned of a possible attack from the sea route ( route used by civilians ) .....
Luckily none of our acquaintances , friends or family members were caught in this mess..
well , I pray this will be "the silver lining in a very dark cloud"....

stay safe .......................

MiSsIoN aDmIsSiOn .......

hi ,
Its been quite long since i last wrote in .
Well ,  my article had got published in the "Hindu " newspaper on the 11Th November 2008 ,
I had submitted it back in the month of may and kept checking the newspaper every day to see if my article had got published .I had lost all hopes by the end of June, when on a fine November 11Th ,i see to my utter astonishment my article published in the paper . I chose to write on the topic of how difficult it is for a student to chose the right college and the perfect combination . Although a lot of changes  were made in what i submitted , i still loved to admire the neat effect of my work . I was completely overwhelmed by the response that poured in from relatives and friends on seeing my article .
So  that event adds to another feather in my cap .

thats it for now .
adios

hi ,
it's really good to write in again ,,, well certainly the hot topic of the US elections which was won by Barrck Obama of the democratic party .As a matter of fact i had been following the elephantine process closely . I do see that obama's policies are very favourable from the point of view of taxes and health policies .What i also like is the fact that he stress on the need for alternative sources . people in India were overjoyed that Obama was presidential elect ( not sure why!!!!!!) and that's funny because Obama plans to increase taxes on outsourcing .... The census also show that Obama had a neat lead over John Mcain although the latter won almost all of the southern states .... It's maybe because Mcain wanted to continue keeping troops in afghanistan and followBush's policies ,,,,, while people of America wanted a change and Obama made it clear saying " CHANGE IS COMING TO AMERICA "..... He is the first african american to become president of the USA ... While author Irwing wallace built a story with the main character being a black president ...It's a bit hard to digest the fact that ..it's now a reality........l et's wait and watch h0w mr.President is going to deal with the financial crisis and the gruesome markets .

until next time

Discovering more ....

Hi,
it's really been long since i have written.. close to 20 days !!!! well mainly because i was not in Bangalore for 10 days and partially owing to my exams ......
well , I went to Tiruchirapalli ( a place in tamil nadu ) to spend time with my grandmother and my cousins .... but it turned out that i was mostly spotted at the shops present there , carefully choosing the right dresses and accessories , as all the items were so cheap and were availably at incredibly low prices !!!!!! what more could i have asked for !!!!!!!!!!
But i spent about 8 days time in Karaikudi ( well , it would be wrong to call it city maybe a village would suit better )..... i was there to learn typewriting , for my mother felt that it would enable me to type without seeing .... I have got to admit it's given the feel of it but i would surely needs lots of practice to master it .......One thing that really shocked about the village was the shortage of power supply ..... there is no power for close to 7 hours a day + there would be no power for close to 15 min or so whenever there is strong gust of wind or a heavy downpour .... besides that there is shortage of vegetables too ........... Fortunately for me , it was raining all through the week so , it did not get too sultry but it certainly was humid ........... so the sweat didn't escape me!!!!!!!
Another highlight of the trip was that i traveled all alone , by train to tiruchipalli....... i must admit I was terrified in the beginning and remained awake all night ........and fell into a slumber when i reached there ( it takes about 8 hours to go ) ..... but while coming back it certainly was not so bad but i was still anxious !!!!!!!!!!

I learnt how to travel alone and how to manage without mum around.... It certainly taught me to be more independent , responsible , adjustive person !!!!! But i defenetly will not quit being mischievous and stupid !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

so ..... that's it for this time
BYE!!!!!!!

for no reason or ryme

well hello there,
Would like to mention that last week's award ceremony went fantastic ... I got a cash award of RS.1001 .... I was on top of the world , cloud nine !!!!!!!! mum was so proud of me she was telling everyone in the family !!!!!!! otherwise .... my """exams """ are on !!!!!! really boring to go through the same thing again and gain ....
as I was scanning through the newspaper yesterday ... Abhinav bindra had featured in advertisment for samsung , standing near a stylish , supercool television ( didn't register the name ) , and he was felicatated for something too, in karnataka which i feel is such a hype and they are giving a rich and famous guy , more power .. which is so ridiculous .. Vijender and sushil kumar don't hit the headlines for anything ...I understand he won gold for us .. so what ... that definely does not mean that you take him on top of your head and dance ... but that is the problem with us isn't it ???it's really sad to see this .........
So until next time ,,,,,
bye

Hi,
I have been looking forward to writing this week's blog ..
I would like to comment on how institutions these days leave students to take up the responsibility of going(traveling - to and fro ) to participate in an event but are overwhelmed with bliss the moment they return after bagging a prize . Well ,that's exactly what happened with me today ... I needed to go to an inter collegiate competition and NOBODY bothered to give me the address of the venue until 21:00 hrs yesterday( even tried asking for the address at least a 100 time before but i presume that they were too busy to share it ) ... well and to add to all to the drama I discovered that the place was somewhere in the extreme south of Bangalore and the traveling time would be at least an hour and a half presuming light traffic in the city .... I was filled with rage at the end of it ... I was on the verge of quitting when my mom suggested taht i take the car and let my brother come by himself from school ....
I went for the debate ( topic : India's performance at the Beijing Olympics was satisfactory ) and the sad part was that I didn't even win anything , besides the saying " participation is more important than winning" , I was personally very upset with the whole thing . This feeling was so strange today ... maybe after all the pains taken to travel and not winning anything let me down . The fact remains that the other girl who came with me took home a trophy !!!!!!!!!!!

OH !!!!! and I almost forgot that tomorrow I have been called by my school to receive an award ( or so i believe ) for securing the highest in "commercial applications" in the X th ICSE board exams ( I got a 96% ) !!!!!!!!!!! I am annoyed that my dad's not here to see it ( neither was he there for my graduation day ) !!!!!!! well , maybe that's why they say " every dark cloud has a silver lining "

so , until next time
BYE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Friday, September 19, 2008

hello,
The only favourite times of the day for me are at the gym and the second writing my blog .
this time of course I would like to mention that that i came across 3people ( well , not all are natural ) who celebrate their birthdays in september , 1 is my eng teacher , and a classmate of mine which i would like to mention specially because she is a physically challenged girl who tries her best to reamin a normal girl , she lost her right arm as it was seriously electrocuted and i think it has been replaced with an artificial one . Well I truly saw what JOY is when i saw the girl's face when the class broke into a surprise birthday song for her and the glee on her face when she got a hug from my teacher . although they say god balances the complicated equation of life , I wonder where the balance is for her . This moment , i am sure , will be a momery of a lietime for her ....
AND.................. the third person to celebrate their special day was none other than the radio station " radio indigo ' which turned 2 today ... I celebrated the day by listening to english songs all day !!!!!!!!! Now that's what i call celebration

So ... hasta luego ,
adios
